About

Grandmasta Gains

My fitness journey started 17 years ago when I stepped into the gym at 18 years old. I had a mobile patella (knee deformity) since birth which limited my ability to run and do resistance training for my legs. I was 5’7, 180lbs, had a 34 inch waistline. I couldn’t run a mile without getting gassed, do a single pushup or a pullup.

Over the years I’ve played around with bodybuilding, powerlifting, CrossFit, and any other program I could get my hands on. I’ve done low carb, high carb, ketogenic, paleo, vegan, and most other diets you can think of. This was all an experimentation to find out the safest and most effective training program that will increase muscle mass, decrease body fat and make the body look sexy and strong.

At 27 I finally got a doctor to fix up my knee. I spent two months on crutches and had to learn how to walk again, and build up a quad muscle that shrunk down to the size of my forearm. From there I used all my knowledge and experience to create the physique you see today.

I went from weighing 175lbs at 24% body fat to 135lbs at 4% body fat. I have gone from getting a knee surgery and learning how to walk again to squatting well over 300lbs in less than 2 years. I have done hours and hours of cardio, which was detrimental to my goals and to my joints. I have put my body through 17 years of experimentation so you don’t have to.

My training style is Bodybuilding, but not the bodybuilding you see today. My style brings you the most amount of results by lifting the least amount of weight. I help people create a beautiful physique that is strong, mobile and healthy. I specialize in making people look and feel amazing without getting unattractively huge.

My goal in life is to create one of the most amazing physiques of all time. Tiny waist, wide back, round shoulders and show-stopping legs. The goal is to create a physique that is beautiful, balanced and functional.

I think there is no point in looking good, if you do not feel good: you need to focus on healthy and pain free joints, having lots of energy and a healthy gigestive and immune system.

After years of experimenting with my own body, I believe that the goal of a workout should not be to beat the crap out of the body, but to give it a stimulus that will help it become stronger, healthier and sexier.
